Your Right to Deletion

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request that we delete the personal data we hold about you.

This applies to: account data, conversation history, knowledge base entries, usage analytics linked to your account, and any other personal data TroveChat has stored in connection with your account.

What Gets Deleted

  • Your business account and login credentials
  • All conversation history and customer message records
  • Knowledge Base entries and AI suggestion records
  • Widget configuration and channel credentials
  • Usage analytics tied to your account
  • Any imported conversation history files

We retain billing records (Stripe IDs, invoice amounts) for 7 years as required by Malaysian tax law. These records do not contain card numbers or sensitive payment details.

Processing Time

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. You will receive an email confirmation once deletion is complete.

How to Submit a Request

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line TroveChat Data Deletion Request and include:

  • The email address registered to your TroveChat account
  • Any additional details that help us identify your account
